Oh, wow, wow, wow. I am currently going through an RK fan-renaissance (born-again fan?); last time I was in this fandom was probably... six or seven years ago. Wow.

Anyways, this means that I'm re-reading a LOT of RK fanfiction, and I was wondering if you guys could help me find some fics that I remember adoring?

There was a story (I don't remember the plot) in which one scene involved Kaoru having to sell her mother's old kimono (or perhaps just kimono material?) in order to feed the Kenshin-gumi. Possibly Kaoru started to starve herself? I'm unsure.

On that note: could you guys recommend me any fanfiction that addresses real-life issues that Kaoru would have had to deal with? Things like being a single female living with men, being a female kenjutsu instructor, the fact that the dojo is pretty poor/in bad condition, how society treats her/them, etc.? Also, fics that recognize the fact that she's a fighter and has fighting skills would be cool, too.

Finally, any very IC (in-character), non-AU Aoshi/Misao fanfiction people would like to recommend?

I was stamped as Neji in last application and i did it like 6 months ago i think?? I can see it but i think i've changed a little?? If you still see him, i'm fine with being stamped as Neji again :)

hi people, hope you can help, or that you've also encountered this problem.

i made a stylesheet for both livejournal and insanejournal. both sites use 'bloggish'.

for insanejournal i can choose 'Use layout's "Base Weblog" stylesheet' -> 'Yes', then post my 'URL' and it works fine.

on livejournal though, i have to pase the css code into the 'Custom stylesheet' section because some of the original bloggish layout css remains.

the problem i have is that when i paste the code and then hit 'save changes', my browser/computer can't keep up the connection to livejournal or something, and so won't actually save the changes.

might it be cuz my css code is too long or too 'complicated'?
